Rhinos Kick Off Spring Practice

The Rochester Rhinos could not have picked a nicer day (59 and sunny) to kick off Spring practice here in Cary. The Rhinos will be running two-a-day sessions at 10am and 3pm through April 4th at SAS Soccer Park on Fields 2 & 3. Pictures from today's practice are available on my flickr stream. The practices will followed up by a series of exhibitions as follows:

  • 4/5 2pm - vs. Charleston Battery (free)
  • 4/6 6pm - vs. UNC Tarheels (free)
  • 4/7 7:30pm - vs. Atlanta Silverbacks (ticket info)
Spring practice will conclude on April 8th before the Rhinos head home for Rochester.

There were probably 35 or so players out there today. Not sure who is who. I was told about 6 of them were combine trialists that were asked to stay on.
