Duke's Moros and Lipsher Get the Call

Duke University women’s soccer players Rebecca Moros and Allison Lipsher each have been invited to train with United States National Teams, which will take place in March and April. Moros, a rising senior from Larchmont, N.Y., has been invited to train with the U.S. Under-21 National Team from March 19-26 at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. The 5-5 midfielder was a Soccer Buzz Honorable Mention All-America, Soccer Buzz first team All-Region and All-ACC first team selection this past season. Moros is coming off a year where she notched four goals, four assists and 12 points with the two biggest goals coming against No. 1 ranked North Carolina on Oct. 9 in Chapel Hill, N.C., as the Blue Devils defeated the Tar Heels, 2-1. A native of Honolulu, Hawaii, Lipsher has been invited to train with the U.S. Under-20 National Team from April 2-9 in Portland, Ore. In goal for the Blue Devils, Lipsher has been stellar over her first two years with 17 shutouts and a 0.88 goals against average. As a sophomore, she was a Soccer Buzz and NSCAA second team All-Region selection, while totaling a career-high nine shutouts and a 0.59 goals against average.
