2006 MLS Super Draft Preview

With the MLS Player Combine set to open on Thursday at the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA, MLS announced the complete draft order for the 2006 Super Draft. The first round order is:

1. Chivas USA
2. Real Salt Lake
3. Columbus Crew
4. Kansas City Wizards
5. MetroStars
6. FC Dallas
7. D.C. United
8. Houston
9. Columbus Crew (from Colorado Rapids)
10. Chicago Fire
11. New England Revolution
12. Los Angeles Galaxy

The Super Draft, which takes place in Philadelphia on Friday, January 20th in conjunction with the NSCAA Convention will be covered live on Fox Soccer Channel as well as MLSNet.com. 3rd Degree has done a great job of handicapping the Super Draft (look under the "Offseason" tab).
